YungStrong's new broiler trial results was featured in latest issue of China Livestock & Wildlife Magazine

Vetnostrum animal health is Taiwan-based firm dedicated to research, develop, and manufacture therapeutic veterinary medicines and functional feed additives, recently conducted a broiler trial and result was published in China Livestock & Wildlife Magazine., 52(5), 73-80, 2020, “Effects of dietary supplementation with Bacillus amyloliquefaciens Ba-BPD1 on growth performance of broiler”. In which Vetnostrum’s proprietary product, YungStrong(Bacillus amyloliquefaciens Ba-BPD1) was incorporated in a head-to-head comparison with a benchmark comprising Bacillus subtilis. 

Results from 33-days trial, conducted in National Chung Hsing University, the leading animal science institute in Taiwan, shows that supplement of YungStrong (Bacillus amyloliquefaciens Ba-BPD1) provides superior growth performance benefits than Bacillus subtilis group, by releasing anti-microbial peptides to improve microflora condition in intestine, observation also indicates significant reduction in noxious gas emissions to enhance farm hygiene. 

In addition to application in poultry and swine, YungStrong is being used in aquaculture. Another findings show YungStrong can improve the water quality by decreasing emission of NH3, N4+ and NO⁻,  leading to a healthy environment for aquatic animal.
